Audi Concept C is more than another motor-show concept. It is the car Audi is using to introduce a new design direction and to preview a future production sports car.
Instead of chasing attention with endless screens and complicated lines, Audi has stripped the idea back to a low, two-seat electric sports car that is interesting precisely because it looks so clean.

Why Concept C matters more than a normal concept car
Concept C debuted in 2025 as the first vehicle built around Audi's new design philosophy. Audi describes the idea through clarity, technicality, intelligence and emotion — and the car itself explains that direction better than a long presentation.
The body is almost free of accidental lines. The front is organised around a vertical frame, the light signature uses four horizontal elements, and the silhouette looks as if it were cut from one solid piece of metal.
A simple shape that is anything but simple
The strongest part of Concept C is its proportions. The cabin sits far back, the shoulder line is strong, and the front end is low and almost vertical. Audi says the proportions result from the central battery layout.
The roof is another clever detail. This is Audi's first roadster with an electrically retractable hardtop. Two roof elements let the car retain a monolithic coupe-like shape while still offering open-top driving.
The paint is called Titanium, a warm metallic shade chosen to emphasise the car's clean surfaces.
The surprise inside: Audi brought real buttons back
Concept C's interior is interesting because the display refuses to dominate the cabin. The 10.4-inch centre screen folds away when it is not needed.
Physical controls get much more attention. The switches are made from anodised aluminium and Audi even talks about the characteristic mechanical “Audi click.” The rings in the centre of the steering wheel are real metal.
The result is calm: two seats, very little visual noise, fabric and metal instead of turning the entire dashboard into one giant television.

This is not a concept Audi plans to forget after the show
Audi says directly that Concept C previews a future production model and will influence further vehicles across the brand. Audi's corporate reporting has also pointed to a production vehicle expected in 2027.
The production car will inevitably become more practical and lose some show-car details. But the vertical front frame, new lighting signature, minimalist cabin and the basic idea of a compact electric sports car already feel like a direction rather than an experiment.
- a new face for future Audis;
- a four-element light signature;
- a two-seat electric sports car;
- an electrically retractable hardtop;
- physical controls returning to the cabin.
